Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Caldwell County, North Carolina. You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day to day you will punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed.
