Now hiring: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Jasper County, Illinois. You will work at a busy lift company. Day-to-day duties: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands You should have: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 6+ years on the tools preferred.
