Steam press operator wanted in Dubuque County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steam press operator in Dubuque County, Iowa. You will be based at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Day-to-day duties: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press 1+ years on the tools preferred.
