Now hiring: foundry operative (Minnesota)

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry operative in Olmsted County, Minnesota. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together. Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours.
