Great opportunity: furnace operator (Indiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a furnace operator in Ripley County, Indiana. On a typical shift you will operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Pay around $10,000 per project, based on your experience.
