Great opportunity: we are hiring a JCB operator in Putnam County, Indiana. You will be based at a landfill site. You should have: • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings The role involves work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
