Horticulturist — Grant Parish

Vacancy available: we are hiring a horticulturist in Grant Parish, Louisiana. Day to day you will rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. Ideal candidate: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
