Argon arc welder wanted in Meriwether County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Meriwether County, Georgia. The role involves: • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent What we are looking for: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 4+ years on the tools preferred.
