Fabrication workshop technician wanted in Tama County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabrication workshop technician in Tama County, Iowa. Day to day you will fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame; clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash. You should have: • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
