Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Fergus County, Montana. You will be based on a commercial tower construction site. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Your main tasks: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat 2+ years on the tools preferred.
