Immediate opening: we are hiring a tig welder in Dona Ana County, New Mexico. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection You will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring). At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. $220 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Contact us to fix an interview.
