Gas installation technician • Throckmorton County, Texas

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Throckmorton County, Texas. You will work on residential and apartment building sites. Day to day you will lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
