Immediate opening: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Peoria County, Illinois. You will be based on long-haul routes across the country. Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays What we are looking for: • Current Driver CPC qualification card • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
