CNC mill setter-operator — City of Lexington

Ideal candidate: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T Day to day you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm.
