Concrete placer — Adavi

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a concrete placer in Adavi, Kogi State. You will be based at an infrastructure site. Day-to-day duties: • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Requirements: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
