Fabricator-welder wanted in Polk County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Polk County, Minnesota. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal 3+ years on the tools preferred.
