Site safety steward wanted in Green Lake County

Join our team: we are hiring a site safety steward in Green Lake County, Wisconsin. The job is at a manufacturing plant. You should have: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot On the job you will handle: • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports 6+ years on the tools preferred.
