Great opportunity: hydraulic crane operator (West Virginia)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hydraulic crane operator in Clay County, West Virginia. The job is at a container port and shipping yard. Day to day you will read and interpret the load chart before every lift; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; keep a safe distance from overhead power lines; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure. Requirements: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Able to read load charts and lifting plans Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
