Stainless steel welder — Somerset County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Somerset County, Maryland. Day-to-day duties: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise What we are looking for: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding 4+ years on the tools preferred.
