Counter butcher • Sargent County, North Dakota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a counter butcher in Sargent County, North Dakota. You will be based at an abattoir or slaughterhouse. Requirements: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler On a typical shift you will stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $2,900 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
