Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a CNC machining unit. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Willing to work rotating shifts and night shift • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls On a typical shift you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges.
