Hand presser wanted in Grant County

Join our team: we are hiring a hand presser in Grant County, Kentucky. Day to day you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; give each garment a final press before packing. What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Part-time with flexible hours.
