Glass fitter — Torfaen County Borough

Great opportunity: we are hiring a glass fitter in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. The job is on a construction site. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of toughened, laminated and double-glazed units • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes Day-to-day duties: • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts • Replace cracked or broken window panes • Clean the finished glass and peel off the protective film • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Fit panes into timber, aluminium and uPVC frames • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £2,200 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
