Earthmoving plant operator — Isle of Wight

Vacancy available: we are hiring an earthmoving plant operator in Isle of Wight, England. Requirements: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination Day to day you will top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; check for underground cables and services before digging; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material. We offer £3,100 per month plus benefits. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
