Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Hamilton County, Iowa. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. On a typical shift you will carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift.
