Rebar foreman wanted in Santa Cruz County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Santa Cruz County, California. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
