Structural MIG welder • King and Queen County, Virginia

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in King and Queen County, Virginia. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. 3+ years on the tools preferred.
