MIG welder — Hunt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a MIG welder in Hunt County, Texas. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • ITI in welder trade or equivalent 2+ years on the tools preferred.
