Restoration bricklayer wanted in Kinney County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Kinney County, Texas. You should have: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
