Tig welder wanted in Jackson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tig welder in Jackson County, Tennessee. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Your main tasks: • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
