Sand plant operator wanted in Grant County

Now hiring: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Grant County, Minnesota. Day-to-day duties: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 2+ years on the tools preferred.
