Slinger signaller wanted in Broome County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Broome County, New York. Day-to-day duties: • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
