Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position.
