Sheet metal press operator — Eastland County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Eastland County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
