Urgent requirement: we are hiring a meat cutter in Franklin County, New York. You should have: • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required Day to day you will dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; season and marinate meat on request. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
