We are recruiting: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Jewell County, Kansas. The job is on an export house sewing floor. The role involves attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Requirements: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
