The role involves connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces 4+ years on the tools preferred.
