Sheet metal welder — Santa Rosa County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Santa Rosa County, Florida. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. The role involves select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal. Requirements: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off.
