Immediate opening: we are hiring a production welder in Attala County, Mississippi. You will be based at a busy production line. Your main tasks: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
