Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welder in Greene County, Missouri. Requirements: • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Day to day you will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges.
