Urgent requirement: cement mason (Iowa)

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Jasper County, Iowa. The job is on a high-rise slab pour. Day to day you will strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls. You should have: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
