Stamping press operator wanted in Vale of Glamorgan

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Vale of Glamorgan, Wales. You will work on the press shop floor. Day-to-day duties: • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards 4+ years on the tools preferred.
