Now hiring: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Kent, England. You will install metal flashing around chimneys and skylights; solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets; strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses; set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates. You should have: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • 2+ years' hands-on roofing experience Pay around £13 per hour, based on your experience.
