Immediate opening: tyre service technician (Illinois)

Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre service technician in Mercer County, Illinois. The job is at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Day-to-day duties: • Log fitments and advise customers on tyre wear and replacement • Jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Keep the tyre bay tidy and dispose of scrap tyres You should have: • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Valid driving licence for mobile fitting roles • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
