Requirements: • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production.
