Steel erection rigger wanted in Stokes County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Stokes County, North Carolina. Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles On a typical shift you will rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
