Trailer driver wanted in Somerset County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a trailer driver in Somerset County, Maryland. What we are looking for: • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Your main tasks: • Top up AdBlue and refuel at scheduled stops • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
