Milling machinist — Rutland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Rutland County, Vermont. You will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. You should have: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work Part-time with flexible hours.
