Vacancy available: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Douglas County, Georgia. The job is on a commercial construction site. Your main tasks: • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Ideal candidate: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
