Immediate opening: crane rigger (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring a crane rigger in Dade County, Georgia. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
